Dear Lasse,

You have numerous issues to deal with and all can be helped with Dr. Sircus' protocol, but you will need to obtain a personal consultation as we cannot deal with all of these on this imva site.

In general I can tell you that we have seen the evidence that iodine can help reduce nodules of oall kinds in the body and even in the thyroid .... but the thyroid or nodule can swell and increase in size if selenium levels in your body are not adequate. These kinds of effects are not seen when selenium is properly supplemented.

Magnesium would be important for the inflammation issues you have and may also be very important in calming the effects of the Tourette's Syndrome.

For more information on consultations with Dr. Sircus please see: http://naturalallopathicclinic.com/

Hello IMVA

I have a thyroid nodule on my left thyroid. I was at the hospital in November last year and had some tests done, and they told me everything my hormone levels were normal, and the FNA turned out fine. I also did a scan with radioactive iodine and it was cold. they want to remove the entire left side of my thyroid, and I am very much against it, and I have been trying to find alternative ways to deal with it. I have always eaten a pretty good diet, but when i got the message i cut out all diary products, refined sugar, reduced carbs. I even did a juice detox and a 3 days water/coconut faste. I have had acupuncture, and that didn't help either. Nothing so far has helped, I have known about Iodine, but i have heard that it can both be good and bad to start taking Iodine, as the Nodule can swell up and get larger. Is this information correct?. Will i be able to correct my thyroid issue with a supplement of Iodine, as I am willing to do everything to avoid having my thyroid taken out. I also have a degenerated disci in the cervical area c5-c6, and i did some checking on it and it turns out that this is where the place where they thyroid is controlled, so I suspect that there are several reasons for it, but the hospital did want to discuss it with my they just wanted to do what they did best, to remove it.
I also have Tourette Syndrome in a mile degree, but I still think that that is due to some deficit too, and there might be a connection.

So my question is, what would you recommend? Thanks for your help, and sorry that my post got so long

regards

Congratulations on the weight loss John!

Iodine can be used without breaks as long as you are feeling no ill effects.

Ususally after two or three months of regular transdermal magnesium use you should be able to cut back somewhat on the amount you use.....do so and see how it goes. In our book on Transdermal Magnesium Therapy we have a chapter on the contraindications and what would cause high levels.....and we also have a chapter on the testing that is available to properly check your magnesium levels.....there are a number of tests you can have done that are not the serum magnesium tests which do not adequately assess tissue magnesium leels.

Lack of sufficient calcium can also be determined by blood testing. Some of the symptoms of calcium deficiency include cramping, muscle spasms, restlessness in the legs at night or numbness and tingling in the extremities. Recommended daily allowance is 1,000 to 1,300 mg.per day and most people get this amount through our fortified diets. Some researchers state that we actually get six to ten times more calcium than we need which throws the magnesium balance off. Deficiency occurs in men more than women and if milk products are avoided totally.

John for more specific direction you will need to get a consultation with Dr. Sircus, but I hope this information helps

Since my last comment several months ago I have lost 8kg (18lbs)and my blood pressure is coming down from 175/100 to under 150/90. I stopped the beta blockers and am feeling a lot of benefits. I still need to lose 20lbs to get my blood pressure down further (120/80) which will take another couple of months.
I still have some questions about various protocols:-
I exercise and apply transdermal magnesium on alternate days.
Can I apply too much magnesium and/or is there a danger that I do not have enough calcium. How can I tell whether I need a calcium suppliment/additional calcium intake or whether the magnesium/calcium ratio is not correct?
I take 5-6 drops of Luogols iodine every morning in water on an empty stomach and wait at least an hour before breakfast and before taking any other suppliments. Should I pause this iodine treatment periodically or is it okay to continue indefinitely?

When taking other suppliments,- fish oil, D³,E,C,Selenium is there anything I should be careful of? PH of saliva and urine is generally 6.5 & 7 respectively.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Dorothy,

You should get a consultation with Dr. Sircus and get on his protocol for cancer. This involves the use of sodium bicarbonate. You can read about this on this site:

Dear Thelma,

Get on some magnesium chloride right away, it helps control blood sugars and reduce insullin resistance. Using Magnesiuum chloride transdermally is the best way to get it into your body. Get some Ancient Minerals, the most pure you can find.
Read up on this at our Magnesiumforlife site:

And see also our site on diabetes at:

Hi Martin,

Try using the sodium bicarbonate with black strap molasses.....reportedly it does not need to be cooked......same ratio: 3:1 molasses to sodium bicarbonate and watch the video on Vernon Johnson mixing his version on youtube.

Dear Claudia,
I have tried several times to mix the bicarb with maple syrup under heat but all it does is that it creates a lot of foam, and once it has cooled down the bicarb settles at the bottom of the pan. How can you get it to bind properly?
Thanks, Martin
