Hello Dr. Sircus and Gail,

Sorry I can't remember the doctor's name but recently read an article about a new theory and a new treatment for multiple sclerosis. The new theory came about from this doctor trying to find the answer for his own wife.

The theory is that it isn't a disease but a vascular abnormality and is cured immediately by surgery to correct the vascular problem. It seems the treatment is just now being tried in very few places in
America. If I can pull this up again I will send more information or even better, I will forward the article to Dr. Sircus and he can share it in his newsletter. I think the problems were in the neck.

Gail, I have a couple of suggestions for those painful joints of arthritis. I don't know whether pokeweed (poke sallet) grows where you live or not but those poke berries are just now forming and will be ripening in another month or so. Those poke berries are not poison and they kick the immune system into high gear. This is God's medicine and its free for the picking. Just stay away from roadsides for picking them. Take them fresh while they last and dehydrate any excess pokeberries to take later. With all the controversy over the probability of microwaves destroying the nutrients in food, stay away from using your microwave as a dehydrator.

Another thing I have found really helpful for those joint pains is
methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) which is a first cousin of sulphur and which our body breaks down into DMSO. I read an article on this
substance 15 or more years ago in the Journal of Longevity and have been taking it ever since. Don't be afraid to take a large dose
(horse) of this daily. I take approximately an ounce of the crystrals daily and have had no problems. You won't be aware that it
is doing anything until you suddenly notice that your joints aren't
telling that it is going to rain. Nice surprise.

Great Site Dr. Sircus!

I drink Club Soda and was wondering if Potassium Bicarbonate is as healthy as Sodium Bicarbonate or is there a difference?
Thanks!

Just discovered your site through a fellow energy medicine practitioner. Great info!! Thank you, and I hope you explore various energy healing practices. I've seen them heal first-hand many, many times over the past 6 years--even MS and cancer. Janet

Dear Jane,
Yes, too alkaline a body can invite problems just like too much acidity can. Get some pH strips and test your urine and saliva and keep within your doctors recommended range. (Generally no higher that 7.3 or 7.4 ) There is more on the dangers of being too alkaline in the chapter on contraindications to using sodium bicarbonate.

I heard you on The Power Hour. One of the subjects you talked about was keeping the body alkaline. I have found that my body is very alkaline due to the fruit that I eat daily. My doctor says that my cervix is too alkaline and that is the reason why I have had polyps, which had to be removed twice over a 12-year period. He recommended taking acidophilus (which doesn't change the pH in my cervix.) What do you think? Can a person be too alkaline? Do I need to give up fruit?

Thanks much!

Try rubbing some magnesium oil from LLMagnetic Clay on your hair and scalp daily. Its been known to restore hair growth and natural color as described in the Transdermal Magnesium Therapy book.

Hello: I'm having thinning and bare spots of hair (on head)--this is the second time it's happening. I take bioidentical hrt and levothyroxine (0.100MG)daily. Do you think the sodium bicarbonate could help? One naturopath thinks the hair loss is related to autoimmune. (Enjoyed hearing you on Talk 650 AM radio interview today!).

Thanks,

Hi again Dr. Sircus,
Do you think that stevia can be substituted for the molasses or maple syrup when taking the S/B orally? would it still work on cancer that way for one who must watch their blood sugar?
Thanks,
Andy

I beleve that not having a proper pH balance makes us more susceptible to invasions of harmful bacteria, virus and fungi of many different kinds. It is the terrain that makes the differernce between health and disease.
