The IMVA is doing what no other medical or health organization is doing – sending out an emergency alert to doctors to prepare for a serious public health threat from aerosolized oil and associated gases. This report and treatment recommendations are meant to maximize survival and health under adverse environmental conditions. The key to avoiding long-term harm is to help the body deal with the chemical assault from the very first moments when one notices foul smell, taste or flu-like symptoms.

When exposure to toxins is dramatically increased, as is the case for people in the Gulf area, the body rapidly becomes overwhelmed and the detoxification pathways normally used to excrete toxins cannot keep up with the exposure. It is well known that airborne toxins documented to be present in a number of Gulf communities are at levels that are many times the maximum allowed by the EPA.

These toxins are coming from both the oil leak and from the chemical dispersants being used to mitigate the accumulation of oil on the water surface. When the body becomes overwhelmed by this level of exposure, it will then “scramble” to store these excess fat soluble toxins in fat cells throughout the body. As these toxins accumulate, the increasing toxic burden can trigger a multitude of health problems.

This document suggests emergency medical treatments with safe non-toxic substances for anyone feeling the signs and symptoms being reported in the Gulf region. The offered protocol outlines basic treatments to capitalize on the body’s own ability to excrete toxic oil substances. By assisting the body in eliminating these toxins before they build up to critical levels, we can protect ourselves from developing the health challenges associated with exposure to these toxins.  The process of detoxification is just that – a process. It is imperative to assist the body in eliminating these toxins.

Today we smelled for about the tenth time in a couple of months a
chemical smell. It smells a bit like paint thinner- not an oil smell. We
seem to smell this on less windy days here in NOLA. Usually the smell
lasts a few hours, but today it was most of the day. Today is June 27.

Emergency medical treatments should be initiated immediately if you want to neutralize the hazardous toxicity from the beginning before too much damage is done. Don’t listen to any doctor or healthcare official who says negative effects are temporary. If you can smell it you are in danger. When you are poisoned with oil compounds, some of which are the nastiest chemicals on earth, like benzene, the damage is deep enough to breakup your DNA. Dr. Blanca Laffon at the University of A Coruna in Spain tested several hundred cleanup workers, both professionals and volunteers, for evidence of DNA damage in the nuclei of their cells. Laffon says exposure to oil did induce DNA damage that was greater in those with more exposure. So again do not listen to anyone who suggests exposure is not dangerous to your long-term health.

Dan Rather, reporting in the Huffington Post, says (incorrectly), “What will be the long-term effects of those large oil plumes, now called clouds, far below the surface? We don’t know. What is the toxicity of all that chemical dispersant being used at the site of the gusher and in the open waters of the Gulf? We don’t know.” We do know and the medical community has to know with precision what is going on or our ignorance is going to hurt a lot of people. We can look at worse-case scenarios and see situations that exceed anything medicine has ever faced. It is ill-prepared for this emergency that will gather itself up with each million gallons more leaked into the Gulf.

The United States government should organize a worldwide effort to provide to the citizens of the affected area large tonnages of sodium bicarbonate and magnesium salts of different types. Clay also should be provided for both internal and external cleansing. Glutathione suppositories need to be taken instantly upon symptom onset. For intense exposure, glutathione IVs are required; selenium IVs should be high on the list as well, though oral dosing will do for mild cases. Highly concentrated medicinal baths with baking soda and magnesium is also an excellent emergency procedure that can be done at home. The government needs to be called in or perhaps some rich family will have a heart and organize relief efforts for the exposed. Some organized help is necessary for if even only a small percent of the people in affected areas try to order necessary supplies stocks will be overwhelmed quite quickly.

There are several ways to increase your glutathione levels. It is a good idea to proceed slowly at first if your glutathione has been depleted for an extended period of time (months to years), because toxins and infections may have been allowed to build up in the absence of sufficient glutathione to keep them under control. If glutathione is then brought up rapidly, the mobilization of toxins can produce a Jarisch Herxheimer reaction, which is an exacerbation of symptoms that can make a person feel very unpleasant.

Intravenous glutathione is best for emergency application but our recommendation for treating Gulf Toxicity Syndrome is to use suppositories, which are about 60 percent as effective as IVs. Transdermal application would probably come in at around 40 percent with oral glutathione supplements being of questionable use. The highly vascular intestines provide a perfect way for beneficial substances to be absorbed into the bloodstream without being broken down by the stomach’s acids or deactivated by the enzymes in the liver. My recommendation is to start doses at one suppository a day of 500 mg to monitor for reactions, then work up to 3-4 a day if exposure levels are high, and do this for an extended period of time.

The foundation of our protocol is based in nutritional not pharmaceutical medicine. Using toxic drugs on top of the toxic exposure does not make any sense. People new to this type of medicine might be comforted to know that some of the best emergency room and intensive care medicines are in reality nutritional medicines. Sodium bicarbonate and magnesium chloride are both used to save lives every day but the medical industrial complex does not like to brag about this because there is no money in these common substances. We have a real problem though for doctors can’t hold an intelligent conversation about nutrition.

“For every molecule of pesticide that your body detoxifies, you throw away or use up forever a molecule of glutathione, magnesium and more,” says Dr. Sherry Rogers, who goes on to say that, “Your body uses nutrients to make this glutathione and it uses up energy as well. Every time we detoxify a chemical, we use up, lose, throw away forever a certain amount of nutrients.”

Under No Circumstance Underestimate the Danger

“People, including pregnant women, can be exposed to these chemicals by breathing them (air), by swallowing them (water, food), or by touching them (skin). If possible, everyone, including pregnant women, should avoid the oil and spill-affected areas,” writes the CDC (Center for Disease Control). They suggest that people stay indoors and turn their air conditioners to internal venting to avoid exposure when they can smell it.

The President’s Cancer Panel issued a landmark report last month suggesting that public health officials have “grossly underestimated” the extent of environmentally-induced cancer among the 1.5 million Americans diagnosed with the disease annually. So don’t believe a word more you read on the CDC site for surrounding their clear statement of warning and danger – everything else they say detracts and makes light of the threat.

Protocol

This document outlines a basic core protocol using, in order of priority: sodium bicarbonate, magnesium chloride, selenium, glutathione, clay, concentrated superfoods like spirulina and chlorella, and formulations like Rejuvenate. The entire cadre of essential nutrients is needed for detoxification to work properly (e.g. vitamins, minerals, essential fats, antioxidants such as vitamin C and bioflavonoids). Most of these are in the spirulina and chlorella, but many more are in the Rejuvenate, which tastes a whole lot better.

Sodium bicarbonate is a vitally important part of the detoxification process because of its ability to modulate body pH. But that is only one of the many reasons everyone needs to turn their attention to the single most helpful substance in an environmental disaster. That good old Arm and Hammer baking soda can save the day. It is very important for doctors to know that even a slightly over acidity in the body can impede detoxification.

Activated charcoal and distilled (or other very pure water) are other super essential substances to have on hand to maximize the body’s ability to excrete highly toxic oil gases. Instructions on teaching people how to make homemade gas masks is on the list of poison gas threats so one will really need that charcoal for anyone downwind of the Gulf disaster. A testimony in John Dinsley book Charcoal Remedies tells an important story about severe benzene exposure. “After taking the charcoal capsules, I made an appointment with my family doctor. I told him about the benzene and asked for another blood test. When the test came back a week later, it showed that I had no benzene in my system.” There is also the coffee enema (organic), which detoxifies the liver, our most important toxin filter.

According to Parris Kidd, PhD and nutritional researcher, “Detoxification capacity varies widely from person to person and what one person can effectively detoxify may cause liver damage or cancer in another. The liver relies heavily on antioxidants and antioxidant cofactors for its detoxification work, so supplementation with vitamins B (complex), C, E, and glutathione precursors have top priority.”[1] Dr. Kidd recommends glutathione precursors alpha-lipoic acid (100 mg/day) and N-acetylcysteine (600 mg/day) along with B, E and C vitamins, phosphatidylcholine and taurine.

The Rejuvenate formulas cover all of this nutritional territory in a most superb way. Spirulina and chlorella cover most but they do not contain any C. Full hydration with pure fluids is absolutely essential in any detoxification protocol thus organic juice fasts or eating very lightly as one flushes and nourishes the system with fluids with these superfoods dissolved is central to an effective protocol. Dr. Leonard Mehlmauer, a naturopath says that, “Each case would be different but diet would be a primary medical tool with the use of pure and raw liquids playing a large part in recovery.  The more severe cases would very likely go on all pure raw liquids, especially green smoothies laced with superfoods.”

One needs to know how vitally important magnesium and selenium are for increasing glutathione, the cornerstone enzyme that we need to detoxify chemicals and heavy metals from our body’s tissues. Order a supply of glutathione suppositories as well as supplies for IVs if you are a doctor that uses them. Activated charcoal should also be brought into the area in large quantities for it holds the potential to help a lot of people in the Gulf Region.

It is crucially important that in our diagnostic model of Gulf Toxicity Syndrome the local populations of the southern states are already exposed to the highest airborne mercury levels; so these people’s toxic levels are unusually high and their immune and detoxification systems are unusually low. Glutathione levels have been diminished and then crashed down even further due to inhaled VOCs. Thus, replenishing glutathione levels quickly is an essential foundation for appropriate emergency and long-term treatment.

Dr. Garry Gordon agrees, suggesting, “IV Glutathione is at the top of the list for effective detoxification for virtually every toxic exposure. Those who are already showing serious symptoms need IV glutathione and vitamin C and extra magnesium – often called a MYER’s cocktail. The doses of C we like are from 8 to 16 grams a day and there are specialized products that most people can tolerate in those higher levels without upsetting the intestine too much. When we give vitamin C IVs we use from 25 to 100 grams in a slow drip and do this 2-4 times a week for as long as needed; but always use high dosages of oral C too. I am very impressed with NAC (N-acetyl cysteine); take 500-600 mg capsules at least twice a day for a few months.

A great part of the idea is to increase cell adaptability and resistance to chemical stress, open detoxification pathways, increase cell wall permeability to allow more nutrients to enter and toxic wastes to exit, increase available glutathione, and provide a large influx of minerals that will increase enzyme activity and help neutralize heavy metals and noxious chemicals from the system. We concentrate on high oral intake of medicinals with high ORAC values. The idea is to increase Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity (ORAC), an assay that measures the degree of inhibition of peroxy-radical-induced oxidation by the compounds of interest in a chemical milieu. One of the Rejuvenate formulas has an ORAC reading of 14,300 for a 41-gram serving. An equal amount of spirulina measures around 3,600. For reference sake approximately 5 servings of fruits and vegetables would typically have an ORAC value in the range of 3,000-5000 units.

There are many ways that spirulina and chlorella helps us and both have always been known to facilitate detoxification during fasting and thus they are also very useful during chelation. One of their functions, through their high concentration of amino acids and carotenes, is to raise glutathione levels, thus reducing kidney and liver toxicity caused by the heavy metals, pharmaceutical drugs and other toxins. One of the reasons that spirulina and chlorella are so effective in cases of radioactivity is the discovery that they do in fact increase glutathione levels.[2]

A large adult man would probably want to take as many as fifty tablets of 500 mgs of spirulina or chlorella (25 grams) but would have to work up to that and be taking lots of fluids. With a Rejuvenate I would easily double or triple the serving, which would then add up to 90 grams. This gets expensive and British Petroleum should be paying for all of this but they won’t of course.

The influence of spirulina extracts significantly increased GSH (glutathione) levels compared with untreated cells according to Dr. H. Hana et al at the National Research Center in Cairo, Egypt. The GSH level of untreated cells was 6.1µg10G cells while those treated with S. plantensis and S. maxima increased the GSH level to 70.32µg10G and even higher. Mike Adams recommends taking chlorella powder in a jar of strong unsweetened lime or lemon water creating a mix that bypasses the unpleasant taste.

Detoxification through the skin is also a very important pathway for healing oneself from chemical overexposure. Besides the bicarbonate and magnesium salt baths the two most useful methods of transdermal elimination are clay baths or clay packs and saunas. Taking a clay bath is one of the most effective methods in existence to help assist the body in the elimination of toxic substances which have accumulated in the body. Applied over one’s organs, such as the liver, clay poultices and packs aid in detoxification and not quite as messy as a bath.  Once you have used the clay, it will be full of toxins, so please dispose of it and wash your skin off with a good natural soap.

Clay is very important to have on hand for medical, environmental and nuclear emergencies. Clay baths are a very strong way of removing heavy metals from the body and would increase our chances of survival if exposed to nuclear fallout. In addition, clay can be ingested and is very effective in removing toxins through the process of elimination. For ingestion, I recommend the daily use of a product called Edible Clay from LL’s Magnetic Clay. For general health, one heaping teaspoon of Edible Earth in an 8 oz glass of water daily is sufficient. And study your iodine, you will need that on hand as well.

Far Infrared saunas (FIR) in particular stimulate multiple pathways in the body including the liver detoxification metabolic pathways. They also supports kidney filtration and elimination. Most importantly far infrared sauna triggers subcutaneous toxin release via perspiration – thereby bringing “online” this additional detoxification pathway. Families and organizations can share the cost of a FIR sauna, which can be used round the clock by many when situations call for such use.

First Steps

One can be overwhelmed when first introduced to nutritional medicine, detoxification principles and chelation of heavy metals. There is a lot to learn and a lot of people say different things about it. Orthodox medicine has taken a strong stand against any of these processes so it will be impotent in its response to this expanding health nightmare. Almost forty thousand people are working in or around the Gulf and a few million on shore are in harm’s way.

The average life span of a person who did cleanup on the Exxon Valdez is 51 years meaning almost all of them are already dead yet British Petroleum is not informing doctors  nor making communications that help the public.

It’s important to always remember that the first rule is to avoid exposure for even the very best protocol cannot save you if you have been hit by a toxic truck. When told by the CDC not to touch the oil it is good to remember one of the greatest lessons in the field of toxicology. There once was a scientist, Karen Wetterhahn who was an internationally respected Professor of Chemistry, an expert researcher in the field of the effects of heavy metals upon living systems, especially in their role in causing cancer. Wetterhahn spilling a drop or two of Dimethylmercury ((CH3)2Hg) on her gloved hand. Less than a year later, she was dead from the effects of mercury poisoning.

Dimethylmercury, a colorless liquid, is one of the strongest known neurotoxins. It is described as having a slightly sweet smell, although inhaling enough vapors to detect its odor would be extremely hazardous. Test showed subsequently that Dimethylmercury would have penetrated the glove and started entering her skin within 15 seconds.

Shortly after the accident she began to notice definite symptoms that worried her – tingly fingers and toes, slurred speech. She began to have problems with her balance and her field of vision started to shrink. When one is exposed to oil smell and its accompanying chemicals or even oil on the beach or in puddles from rainfall should beware and take great care. Though oil toxicity might not be as dangerous as Dimethylmercury one should remember the lessons of Karen Wetterhahn, who was wearing protective gear. It was a great lesson because no one dreamed it was as dangerous as it is and they are repeating the same mistake in the Gulf.

A new chemical dispersant is being used in the cleanup effort — it’s toxic, it’s largely experimental, and it’s being sprayed in abundance into the ocean. It’s unclear at this point what exactly its long term impact on life. The active ingredient of the toxic chemical dispersant is a  neurotoxin pesticide that is acutely toxic to both human and aquatic life, causes cancer, causes damage to internal organs such as the liver and kidneys simply by absorbing it through the skin and may cause reproductive side effects. The main ingredients of Corexit it is 2-Butoxyethanol, which is known to cause cancer, birth defects and has been found to cause genetic mutations and is a delayed chronic health hazard as well as an environmental hazardous material. Corexit also contains Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, and Cyanide.

My suggestion for first steps is to read our site on sodium bicarbonate and then on magnesium chloride. Purchase and immediately get familiar with what is called magnesium oil and learn about transdermal medicine, for that’s how these medicinals are best applied. If you’re anywhere near where the wind could blow the poisons that are gathering in and above the Gulf, go to Cosco or the supermarket and buy fifty pounds of bicarbonate, you just might need it. The affected area will eventually include much of the southern and southeastern United States – probably an area that includes upwards of 50 million people, so expect supplies to sell out from all possible domestic sources very quickly for most of the substances if this information gets out and the oil flow is not stopped, which no one at this point is indicating or promising.

There are effects from the oil spill that you can see, like oil washing ashore, and those that you can’t, like when oil compounds break down and go airborne. What is unfolding in the Gulf of Mexico is truly a nightmare of epic proportions. And it’s going to be a health disaster whose dimensions are growing exponentially behind curtains erected by the federal government. Few people are grasping the magnitude of the Gulf oil tragedy, not grasping the grave consequences for many millions of people and eventually the entire world. It is going to affect not only the livelihoods and employment of locals but will also contribute to the health failure of millions of people. It is so profoundly sad – like watching a loved one with a gunshot to the belly witnessing the blood coming out, but in this case it’s the planet belching up black blood and poison gas in huge and very possibly unending quantities.

There’s an old adage about not seeing the forest for the trees. It means getting wrapped up in the details of a circumstance and losing appreciation for the big picture. Sometimes we need to step back and look at things from a different perspective. Consider the extraordinary situation in the Gulf. Not that much news coming out of there, no mention of deadly threats but we do know who went to the yacht races last weekend. Life seems almost normal on the front page of the Times or in Yahoo or Google News. Things are stabilizing at the king of pop’s mansion, and Obama is personally meeting with a young gay girl who was given a hard time with her prom.

While the situation in the Gulf is grim it will soon get a lot grimmer. There are certain chemicals mixed in with the oil that release toxic gases, finding a way to make it up into the air. Many different gases from hydrogen sulfate to benzene are being released into the air at around 4000 times what it considered safe to humans. As a result of this people are going to become gravely ill. People are going to be poisoned and unfortunately some are going to die. We have already seen breathing problems in the Gulf region and now reports are coming in as far away as Atlanta, Georgia.

“These 18-inch boom systems didn’t even slow it down. This is not
protection,” Mayor Les Fillingame said. “This is a wake-up call.”

You will be shocked that you are not reading what you are in this essay in the corporate-and-government-controlled mass media. The same people and government that love secrets seem to be holding back on us but this cannot be sustained for long as the disaster continues to unfold into a planet-damaging event. “Health officials say there seems to be little reason to worry at this point.” If you believe that, well, what can I say but that is the official position at this point on the 21st of June. “But some note that health effects months or years from now remain a question mark, particularly for the workers who are in the thick of it, cleaning up oil from the BP spill in the Gulf.”

On June 14th Obama promised that “things are going to return to normal” along the stricken Gulf Coast and the region’s fouled waters will be in even better shape than before the catastrophic BP oil spill. He even declared Gulf seafood safe to eat. Meanwhile people are hurting around the Gulf with many facing bankruptcy and complete life destruction and they are now talking openly of permanent ruptures to the seabed floor around the oil well.

According to F. William Engdahl, “Vladimir Kutcherov, Professor at the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and the Russian State University of Oil and Gas, predicted that the present oil spill flooding the Gulf Coast shores of the United States “could go on for years and years … many years.” According to Kutcherov, a leading specialist in the theory of abiogenic deep origin of petroleum, “What BP drilled into was what we call a ‘migration channel,’ a deep fault on which hydrocarbons generated in the depth of our planet migrate to the crust and are accumulated in rocks, something like Ghawar in Saudi Arabia.” Ghawar, the world’s most prolific oilfield has been producing millions of barrels daily for almost 70 years with no end in sight. Ghawar like all elephant and giant oil and gas deposits all over the world, is located on a migration channel similar to that in the oil-rich Gulf of Mexico.

Engdahl  also writes, “According to a report from Washington investigative journalist Wayne Madsen, “the Obama White House and British Petroleum are covering up the magnitude of the volcanic-level oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and working together to limit BP’s liability for damage caused by what can be called a ‘mega-disaster.’” Madsen cites sources within the US Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, and Florida Department of Environmental Protection for his assertion. Obama and his senior White House staff, as well as Interior Secretary Salazar, are working with BP’s chief executive officer Tony Hayward on legislation that would raise the cap on liability for damage claims from those affected by the oil disaster from $75 million to $10 billion. According to informed estimates cited by Madsen, however, the disaster has a real potential cost of at least $1,000 billion ($1 trillion). That estimate would support the pessimistic assessment of Kutcherov that the spill, if not rapidly controlled, “will destroy the entire coastline of the United States.”

The president had it right saying this disaster has the dimension and feeling of a 9/11 crisis but this time we are facing something much more disturbing and profoundly threatening to the world, starting with the southern United States, Cuba, the Caribbean, Mexico and then the North Atlantic and eventually Europe. But it is a mystery why the Obama administration has turned down thirteen countries that have offered to help us clean up the Gulf.

The true depth of the disaster is being lost partly because events are being reported without much context and with more attention paid to boat racing executives on weekend holiday than to poisonous gases in the air. In terms of health and medicine there is a cover-up going on and that is nothing new or surprising. Historically it has been impossible for medical officials to be truthful about public health issues. This is exemplified by their dishonesty regarding the danger of mercury-containing dental amalgams as well as the danger of mercury-containing vaccines. So how can we expect them to be capable of coming clean about the health implications of the Gulf oil spill disaster? This is not a joking or theoretical matter. You may or may not have not noticed on television that workers in the oil cleanup are not wearing masks, meaning medical and health officials learned absolutely nothing from the Valdez disaster and the toxic sickness that enveloped them. Allopathic doctors are neither ready nor able to treat the victims of the catastrophic toxicity arising from the oily vomit coming out from the bowels of the earth. Doctors need to be keenly aware of potential health risks to people exposed to not only oil in the water but also to fumes in the air. It should be perfectly clear that as long as the well remains uncapped, the situation will grow worse with more and more people’s health adversely affected. Notice how they are not talking much about the end of this disaster anymore and for good reason.

The evidence is growing stronger and stronger that there is
substantial damage beneath the sea floor. Indeed, it appears
that BP officials themselves have admitted to such damage. This
places an enormous urgency to reduce the amount of –
or completely stop – the leaking oil this summer.

As early as the May 7th the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an environmental action group, was warning that people along the coast were already reporting headaches, nausea, coughing, and throat irritation. “There are significant health risks associated with this oil spill and the risks aren’t just to wildlife, they are also to humans,” said Dr. Gina Solomon, senior scientist with the NRDC. “The risks include acute health effects from the air pollution from the oil itself, along with health effects from burning the oil as well as contamination of the food chain, all of which can result in a long-term health concerns.”

From Tampa Meteorologist Bobby Deskins from almost two months ago, “Here in the Bay Area, there were widespread reports of an odor in the air. Air quality tests have proved to be inconclusive, but it is not a far stretch to believe the odor came from the incident. That possibility seems even more likely when you consider the smell went away once the winds here then turned to the SE-S. That would blow the odor back toward the northern Gulf of Mexico.”

A high pressure system centered over the Gulf of Mexico will bring light northwesterly winds to the oil spill area over the next few days was the report from Tampa on the 18th of June. As a result, models that attempt to predict the future track of the spill are suggesting that the oil will head back toward the southeast. These kinds of reports are going to become increasingly important to doctors and patients alike who are going to have to deal with the deadly winds, as they will probably soon be called.

Chris Landau is a proponent of the inorganic oil creation process and has published on this subject warning people of the danger of drilling so deeply into the bowels of the earth. The process of oil creation he talks about differs from what we were all taught in school. He poses that oil is the byproduct of natural deep earth processes and that oil doesn’t come “from decayed plant matter.” The gulf oil volcano is proof that he is correct and that the oil coming up from 40,000 feet has nothing to do with dinosaurs but has everything to do with deadly chemicals and life-threatening toxicity.

Landau says this is not a “spill.” A spill is finite. This is a blowout, an explosion of oil spewing out of the earth under great pressure. What is spewing out, blasting out with more pressure than we comprehend, is a toxic mixture of various chemicals, some of which can kill you at a mere 400 parts per million. There’s hydrogen sulfide, benzene, methane, pentane, propane, ethane, butane, and a host of other combinations of hydrogen and carbon. All are dangerous in various concentrations. They are dangerous to breathe in and dangerous to touch. They cause cancer, lung damage and death. Some of them are so dangerous they cause genetic damage, passing their destruction onto generations yet unborn.

Landau explains the process, where the deadly gas comes from: “Hydrogen sulfide is coming out of the earth itself, part of deep down below. At lower concentrations, hydrogen sulfide gives off a rotten egg smell, but you can’t smell it at 150 ppm. This is what makes the stuff so dangerous. You can’t smell it at higher concentrations, and it will kill you at higher concentrations. The EPA itself has observed odor-causing pollutants associated with oil on the shore in the gulf region and is constantly taking measurements.”

Inhaling air contaminants is making some people sick now and may make many more chronically ill in the future. Local populations are already toxic from other chronic exposures from airborne mercury and other chemicals making people more sensitive to current toxic assaults from the oil disaster. The Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division has issued a Code Orange air quality alert for Metro Atlanta for Friday, June 18. That means the air is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups.

according to the direction the wind is blowing.

Reports are coming in that people in Atlanta are reporting breathing problems. It seems many are feeling sore throats, constant slight headaches, extreme fatigue, and nausea while outside. Is it so surprising that when the rain and wind come up from the Gulf into southern Georgia people would suffer from the toxic fallout? Those living in the Gulf region are at serious health risks and neither the media, the EPA, the CDC nor the president is warning them. In fact there seems to be a complete cover-up and news blackout of the events as they are unfolding, though we see scattered reports from local news agencies confirming most everything in this presentation. Thousands who are doing cleanup duty and working on the ships are seriously in harm’s way. And then it is anyone’s guess how far and wide the toxic damage will carry.

The Louisiana Environmental Action Network released its analysis of air monitoring test results by the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA’s air testing data comes from Venice, a coastal community 75 miles south of New Orleans in Louisiana’s Plaquemines Parish.

The findings show that levels of airborne chemicals have far exceeded state standards and what’s considered safe for human exposure. For instance, hydrogen sulfide has been detected at concentrations more than 100 times greater than the level known to cause physical reactions in people. Among the health effects of hydrogen sulfide exposure are eye and respiratory irritation as well as nausea, dizziness, confusion and headache. The concentration threshold for people to experience physical symptoms from hydrogen sulfide is about 5 to 10 parts per billion but has been measured higher than 3,000 parts per billion early on in this exponentially unfolding disaster.

EPA is monitoring for hydrogen sulfide (H2S) at a number of
locations near Venice and Chalmette, Louisiana, and Mobile,
Alabama. Monitors are detecting H2S in the Venice, LA area.

Louisiana’s ambient air standard for the VOC benzene, for example, is 3.76 ppb, while its standard for methylene chloride is 61.25 ppb. Long-term exposure to airborne benzene has been linked to cancer, while the EPA considers methylene chloride a probable carcinogen. Air testing results show VOC concentrations far above these state standards. On May 6, for example, the EPA measured VOCs at levels of 483 ppb. The highest levels detected to date were on April 30, at 3,084 ppb, following by May 2, at 3,416 ppb.

more than 10,000 workers. They must be protected
from hazardous exposures to toxic VOCs.

Tens of thousands more are deployed on shore and at sea trying to hold back the dark waters. Depending on their proximity to the oil leak, wind direction, wave action, and cleanup tasks being performed, BP Deepwater Horizon cleanup workers in the Gulf are potentially exposed to the Mississippi Canyon crude oil components n-hexane, naphthalene, benzene, ethyl benzene, toluene, and xylene; other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in dispersants and other oil spill remediation chemicals; methane, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide and other toxic gases; acid gases like sulfuric acid; polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) and particulates from diesel and gasoline engine exhaust and burning oil. Even this list is not exhaustive. Potential short-term health effects from these exposures include Irritation to eyes, skin, and respiratory system; dizziness; rapid heart rate; headaches; tremors; confusion; unconsciousness. Potential long-term health effectsinclude cancer, birth defects, and permanent nerve damage as well as damage to the liver, kidneys, respiratory, reproductive, blood, and immune systems.

“The media coverage of the BP oil disaster to date has focused largely on the threats to wildlife, but the latest evaluation of air monitoring data shows a serious threat to human health from airborne chemicals emitted by the ongoing deepwater gusher,” the Institute for Southern Studies blog reported on May 10. Any one of these chemicals in these concentrations would be lethal. Mixed together into a toxic soup the oil disaster is truly unthinkable and is a medical and health disaster of unfathomable proportions.

In addition to destroying the wildlife, killing animals and devastating the coastal economy, the massive oil spill in the Gulf will have damaging psychological and physical consequences for Gulf coast residents, the entire state of Florida, and now it seems that Georgia and the rest of the southeastern United States could be threatened considering we are already seeing problems from people in Atlanta. And we are not even talking worse case scenarios.

Two months since the deadly explosion of the Deepwater Horizon, mental health professionals in the region are preparing for the worst, citing the potential for depression, domestic violence and even suicide, but we are not hearing from the CDC or anyone else about the health hazard and what to do about it. This is in great part due to the fact that it is the official policy of the government to ignore toxic hazards coming from industry, from coal-fired electrical plants, from incinerators and crematoriums as well as from doctors and dentists who compromise the very fabric of society with their totally insane use of mercury in their professional practices.

Dr. J. Steven Picou, a sociology professor at the University of South Alabama, describes Cordova, Alaska, the area most adversely affected by the Valdez, as a community marked by loss of social capital – meaning loss of trust, family, friendships, networks and the sense of belonging within the community. As Cordova’s sense of community “corroded,” there was a rise in domestic violence, self-isolation, medicating and depression. He also noted that prolonged exposure to an oil spill will cause many to dwell on the horrifying realities of the disaster, eventually leading to more severe mental health conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

With the emerging evidence of fissures, the quiet
fear now is the methane bubble rupturing the
seabed and exploding into the Gulf waters.

Others are worried about a massive loss of life through a methane explosion that would create a tidal wave that would take out all of Florida and most of the rest of the Gulf region. Included in the worst case scenarios is a toxic rain falling upon tens of millions further north from the Gulf as wind patterns and or a hurricane comes barreling into the region. Others see the entire North Atlantic turning into a black and very dead sea and the nightmare scenarios go on and on making any serious readers’ stomach sick to death over what has been done to our planet. We have allowed corporate capitalists do something they cannot undo and this is sad and truly tragic for the future of our children.

It’s our first oil volcano and its spilling black lava into the sea. I feel sad for the younger generations for mine and the one that came before have done so much to damage our environment. Sociologist Steven Picou at the University of South Alabama calls the Gulf oil leak a “monster catastrophe that boggles the mind.” Some believe that the pocket of oil that’s been hit is so powerful and under so much pressure that it may be virtually impossible to contain it. Many things are being proposed but no promises have been made.

BP said it was trying several options to control the leak without being sure they would work. Among plans under consideration for the gusher, BP is looking at cutting the riser pipe, which extends from the well, undersea and using larger piping to bring the gushing oil to a drill ship on the surface, a tactic considered difficult and less desirable because it will increase the flow of oil. That’s a scary option but at this point they are “trying anything people can think of” to stop the leak, said Ed Overton, a LSU professor of environmental studies.

The oil began washing up on beaches in thick blobs last weekend bringing a renewed sense of urgency as dime to golf ball sized balls of tar washed up Saturday on Dauphin Island, three miles off the Alabama mainland at the mouth of Mobile Bay. Initial reports were of only 1,000 barrels of oil a day (46,000 gallons) but now the estimates are up to almost 4,000 barrels a day (175,000 gallons) or more.

A National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration video, shot as officials coordinated response to the Deepwater Horizon disaster, shows that federal officials almost immediately worried that the oil well could leak up to 110,000 barrels per day, or 4.6 million gallons. In one scene, officials say that the estimate for the leak in a worst-case scenario is between 65,000 and 100,000 barrels per day. A dry erase board on the wall reads “Estim: 64,000 to 110,000 bbls/day. CNN reported 300,000 gal/day.”

At that spill rate, 32 million gallons of oil would enter the Gulf every week. We were originally told that a thousand barrels of oil was leaking per day but now almost 20 days later we are told an estimated 3.5 million gallons has risen from the depths since the April 20 explosion that killed 11. Now two days later their estimates put out in the press are 4 million gallons.

If the wellhead is lost, oil could leave the well at a much greater rate, perhaps up to 150,000 barrels — or more than 6 million gallons per day — based on government data showing daily production at another deepwater Gulf well. By comparison, the Exxon Valdez spill was 11 million gallons total. The Gulf spill could end up dumping the equivalent of 4 Exxon Valdez spills per week.

Fears are growing of a prolonged environmental and economic disaster for the U.S. The projected westward spread of the massive slick, swelled by crude gushing unchecked from a ruptured BP-owned seabed well, has raised fears of an impact on rich fisheries areas filled with shrimps, oysters, crabs and crayfish, and even on major shipping channels off the Louisiana coast.

There is no doubt that this is a catastrophic event with catastrophic consequences. If the river of oil cannot be stopped the United States of America will be in real trouble as the oil makes its way around the gulf and then up the East Coast, which is where the Gulf Stream will eventually carry the oil. It sounds like already it’s going to be a total wipeout to the fishing industry in the Gulf and that really matters with world food stocks being so low.

Mike Adams said, “This is disastrous for both the seafood industry and the people whose livelihoods depend on it. It’s also devastating to the local wildlife which could begin to die off from petroleum toxicity. There’s no telling where this continuous stream of oil will end up and what damage it might cause. We cannot live without life in the oceans. Man is arrogant to drill so deeply into the belly of Mother Earth.” Adams is already talking about this as a life extinction event, and though it’s a little early to call or even utter such words this is a really serious event that will keep expanding if they don’t cap that well.

Seems like the Coast Guard early on had similar concerns.

What I said a few weeks ago about the economy I repeat again in terms of what is happening in the Ukraine with the swine flu, a new genetic strain of it or something entirely new. President Yushchenko said: “People are dying. The epidemic is killing doctors.” Doctors in Ukraine’s western Chernovetsky region, near the centre of the flu outbreak, said lab tests showed at least some of the fatalities appeared to be caused by something dissimilar to both common flu and swine flu.

Reports of aerial spraying right before the plague hit will probably never see the light of day but if a person does not believe that there are people who would do such a thing they really are not familiar with the dark side of humanity. Dr. Gregory J. Moran, an associate professor in the department of emergency medicine in Los Angles says, “Plague may be rare today in the United States, but health care professionals should be aware of its potential as a weapon, because its pathogens are easily aerosolized and the symptoms are not likely to arouse suspicion until an epidemic is evident. If plague were to be used as a biological weapon, the pathogens would likely be spread via aerosol and inhaled, leading to the pneumonic form.”[1]

After weeks of silence in the western press the New York Times finally reported on 13th of November, “When patients began arriving in Dr. Vyacheslav Bonder’s intensive care unit two weeks ago, their lungs so saturated with blood that they could barely gasp, the only thing he could compare it to was a field hospital in wartime. As soon as he hooked one patient up to a ventilator, a second and third would appear in the doorway.”[2]

The entire nation of Ukraine is in an absolute state of panic as a mystery illness rips through their country. The pandemic in the Ukraine is threatening the lungs of flu victims with hemorrhage The first alarm came in August when a microbiologist calls into a radio show[3] run by a doctor with dire warnings about what was about to be deliberately released in the Ukraine and then is hunted down in L.A. by a SWAT squad and its all displayed on this bizarre video. Now just two months later the Sunday Express is reporting, “A doctor in Western Ukraine who did not want to be named, said:” We have carried out post mortems on two victims and found their lungs are as black as charcoal. They look like they have been burned. It’s terrifying.”[4]

And this means eating more than garlic, onion and lemon though this is a good medicinal combination to start with.

A cocktail of three flu viruses are reported to have mutated into a single pneumonic plague, which it is believed may be far more dangerous than swine flu but this is just a highly doubtful assumption. This plague is more likely a bacterial, not viral, infection from the kind of reports coming in from doctors in the field who are describing the disease as Pneumonic Plague, or as some type of hemorrhagic fever, or as hemorrhagic influenza, or as hemorrhagic pneumonia.

Pneumonic plague is one of three main forms of plague, all of which are caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. It is more virulent and more rare than bubonic plague. The difference between the versions of plague is simply the location of the infection. Pneumonic plague is an infection in the lung(s), bubonic plague is an infection of the buboes or lymph nodes, while septicemic plague is an infection in the blood stream. According to the WHO, “Infected persons usually start with “flu-like” symptoms after an incubation period of 3-7 days. Patients typically experience the sudden onset of fever, chills, head and body-aches and weakness, vomiting and nausea.[5]

Within a week or two, at present rates of infection, what is threatening not only Eastern Europe will threaten the rest of the world. Please note carefully that the news from the Ukraine is not being published in western papers, (Until two days ago with a Times article that scared no one. “The panic lifted almost as quickly as it had arrived”) which means authorities are not shutting down international flights. The Ukraine has not closed its borders, and WHO says there is no need, as it would have no advantage in limiting the spread of the new outbreak, which WHO simply calls “severe acute respiratory illness”.

So what is happening in Eastern Europe can
and will probably spread all over the world soon.

The World Health Organization (WHO) team arrived in the Ukraine on the 2nd of November and met with the country’s health ministry today to discuss the dramatic spike in flulike illnesses and deaths, particularly in the western part of the country, whose numbers have, in only ten days, spiraled out of control. Urging its citizens not to panic, Ukraine, early on, closed the nation’s schools to avoid the spread of swine flu and suggested that nightclubs, cinemas and food markets in the west also shut down.

WHO and the international corporate syndicate that fund them, may have decided that they could go ahead with their plan to trigger a pandemic in Europe and the USA. The Ukraine may, therefore, have seemed like a good place to test their model and carry out their plan of generating a plague, panic, confusion, declaring a mutated virus, inserting the virus into vaccines, and waging biological warfare against defenseless civilian population. Obviously I don’t trust the WHO as far as I can spit into a hurricane wind and I do perceive their everyday actions as the dark force in action on our planet.

We will see what will happen and if the Ukraine government uses its own army and military through a forced vaccination program. What we would think as outrageous back home has routinely been inflicted on third world countries for decades and there is no surprise that the worst segment of humanity is turning on the rest, even on the pregnant women who they insist should get the Swine flu shot first.

I received the H1N1 vaccination on October 22nd, 2009 and went into labor on October 25th, at 16 weeks pregnant and we just heard the heartbeat and everything was fine with my pregnancy on October 16th, 2009, then on October 28th my water broke then on October 29th, I delivered a stillborn baby boy, and no one can tell me why. Everyone wants to say it did not come from the shot but I believe it did. My baby was growing at the correct pace and everyone wants to brush off the vaccination.[6]

Official studies in pregnant women of course show no indication of side effects from the vaccine. And studies confirm that children under the age of 9 will need two doses to be fully protected.[7] This is what will be recommended despite the fact that it means twice the mercury injected into these children’s blood streams; but that is not a problem according to health officials. As governments roll out their swine flu vaccines trust is at an all time low as consciousness about the dangers of vaccines increases.

The public awareness of the dangers of the vaccine jab has become very great in this region and across Europe people have not been running hysterically to get their injections. The WHO and Baxter (the pharmaceutical company that the microbiologist was warning about in August) were caught contaminating 72 kilos of vaccine material with the live bird flu virus in February, have probably been getting desperate about the popular and growing rebellion against the vaccines certain folks are hoping to make a killing with, both in the financial sense and the literal sense. Conveniently Baxter has a plant in the Ukraine.

Executives from Baxter, Novartis, Glaxo-Smith Kline, and Sanofi Pasteur have seats at an advisory group to the WHO that in July recommended mandatory H1N1 vaccination of everyone in all 194 countries that belong to the World Health Organization, which is going all out to manifest this goal. It’s a somber reality that the swine flu vaccines are dangerous and can provoke cytokine storms and what can be diagnosed as Hemorrhagic Pneumonia. What these people and organizations are wishing on the world and its peoples is certainly ominous – mind blowing in fact unless you have been studying the vaccine question for years.

There are people who just want to be left alone all over the world and there are people who just will not do that. At the top of a syndicate of sinister exploitation is the World Health Organization (WHO), which is continuing to deceive the world by stating sweeping assumptions about the Ukraine pandemic. Despite huge differences in transmission and deaths rates, the agency stated last week that it was valid to assume that most of the cases of influenza reportedly combing through the Ukraine were caused by the pandemic A(H1N1) virus,[9] which is simply not confirmed at this point.

“If the media continues to whip everyone into a state of hysteria over the swine flu, it may be that the government will put measures in place to try to force school children to have the vaccine,” writes Robin Phillips in his must read essay on population reduction and the people who favor such a thing.[10] It is not hysteria flames that need to be nourished but prudent medical thinking on a level that transcends official medicine’s vaccine and anti-viral response. Philips gives an excellent profile of the people and organizations that could be behind this human disaster exploding in the Ukraine with rates of infection literally doubling day by day. The Federal Drug and Food Administration (FDA) have found tiny particles of trash in drugs made by Genzyme. It’s more than amazing that though they found bits of steel, rubber and fiber that could cause serious adverse health effects for patients, the FDA said the products would remain on the market but doctors should closely inspect vials for particles before injecting them into patients.[11]

Humanity is at great risk because it trusts medical officials and these health organizations; how many reasons do we need to feel insecure about the power these people and organizations have? The official world of medicine is acting as a dark plague and promotes plagues with great expectation and authority. They have been foaming at the mouth waiting for such an outbreak as this.

Ukraine is the first country to come under the control of the WHO (God help them) and the UN under the International Health Regulations of 2005, and the reality is that Yuschenko and his Prime Minister Julia Timoschenko are just carrying out the orders from WHO and the UN when they suspend civic rights and democracy under the pretext of fighting a pandemic emergency. The Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe are currently the weakest pegs in the world financial system, besides California and a host of other states. A team of IMF trouble-shooters rushed to Kiev on Wednesday to draw up a possible standby loan to help Ukraine stabilize its bank after a panic run on deposits this month. Meanwhile banks in Sweden and The Baltic states are in the eye of the storm after leaked reports that Sweden is bracing for a full-blown economic and political “breakdown” in Latvia. The Svenska Dagbladet newspaper said Sweden’s finance minister Anders Borg had told banks secretly that Latvia’s political order was unraveling, advising them to prepare for the collapse of Latvia’s rescue talks.

Eastern Europe offers us a looking glass into the future that is happening in certain places today. Consider that accurate news is a precious commodity rarer then exceptional stones. We hardly hear in the mainstream about the crisis facing many States in America, how much less about Eastern Europe. The model presented by many thinkers is one where we see the Internationalist One World Government super elite taking advantage of and instigating crisis in both economic and health areas simultaneously. Kind of like doing a cannon ball on top of a man coming up for air; what we are seeing today in the Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe might be a harbinger of what is planned for the rest of us.
