The Ultimate Terrorists

     This month is the anniversary of the oldest and most successful terrorist organization on earth. In a world concentrating its resources on the war against terrorism it’s more than a little strange that we ignore the organization responsible for more death and suffering than any other. It would come as a shock to most Americans to learn that one particular department of the federal government, the one responsible for the safety of our food and drug supplies, easily qualifies as the number one cause of death and disease in the world.[1]

        The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) practices a unique form of terrorism that tends to be particularly ugly, mean, nasty, brutal, and cruel. They are an organization from its inception dedicated to a vast but slow poisoning of every man woman and child in America. As the main governmental agency dedicated to the rising empire of the chemical and pharmaceutical companies they began their long campaign of terror by allowing toxic food preservatives into the food supply that they knew way back then to cause serious health problems.[2] This of course was just the beginning. 

     We have become accustomed to the facts of life that include the presence of men and women who utterly fail their profession and all sense of humanity, men who do things that the rest of us cannot even begin to imagine. Viktor Frankl, a famous Austrian psychiatrist who survived the concentration camps  wrote a long time ago, “From all this we may learn that there are two races of men in this world, but only these two - the "race" of the decent man and the "race" of the indecent man. Both are found everywhere; they penetrate into all groups of society. No group consists entirely of decent or indecent people.”

      Doctors at the Nuremberg Trials were found in 1947 to be guilty of the most heinous crimes partially because they had the medical knowledge and skill to inflict terrible suffering and pain. Indecency certainly was common among doctors and medical staffs in Nazi Germany and today the legacy of these medical monsters lives on at the FDA where the betrayal of Americans, and the world, has been going on under the deceptive guise of protection. The FDA’s huge power to do wrong is founded in their ability to lie and deceive the public by declaring harmful toxic substances safe.

      My birthday present to the FDA is a series of books that confront head on this toxic deception. How inhumane an organization can get is presented in Fight for Your Health, a book by Byron Richards, which exposes the FDA’s betrayal of the public.[3] As a warm up to the subject Richards tells us to try to imagine the targeting of small children with dangerous and expensive drugs and we begin to see the absolute horror of a medical system run amok, stewarded by the FDA, which thinks millions of children need to take narcotics to treat their “mental diseases.”

      This is a very timely and important book that exposes a great threat to the public. Richards exposes the FDA as “nothing more than a puppet organization supporting the economic interests of the federal government and large multinational companies.” He sees the FDA as a bully police force standing up for the profits of drug companies at the expense of health for Americans and in this he is being kind. Many refer to the FDA as the center of the medical mafia, but I cut to the chase and simply refer to them with a pointed description, they are the medical Gestapo and act like it. And Americans let them run around with their Swat teams and get away with their rein of terror. Yes, America has its own Gestapo and its emissaries, and they burst into doctors’ offices with their flack jackets and automatic weapons and rip IVs out of elderly patients’ arms if reputable doctors use something not approved by the FDA and more importantly, by the pharmaceutical firms, whose interests it “serves and protects.”

Aspartame, MSG, water fluoridation, mercury containing dental
 amalgam, thimerosal in children’s’ vaccines, and a long list of horribly dangerous drugs are choice examples of FDA gifts to humanity.

    Since we have not bothered to confront this aging organization they now feel perfectly free to unleash a whole new dimension of power with which to threaten the general public. Under a new federal rule published in early June, in a declared health emergency, health care workers will be free to run experimental tests on blood and other samples taken from people who have fallen sick as a result of a bioterrorist attack, bird flu outbreak, or detonation of a dirty bomb. This new federal rule was issued by the Food and Drug Administration and thus suspected victims will no longer be asked for permission before experimental tests will be run to determine why they're sick. God protect the person who rejects a test or refuses a vaccine under a declared health emergency.[4] Some very popular people are jumping on the bandwagon of increasing the power of the FDA.

     Barbara L. Fisher writes about this saying, “In what has become a familiar theme since the events of September 11, 2001, politicians are feeding the insatiable appetite of public health officials to force medical treatment on people. With so many Americans chronically ill and disabled after adhering to public health policies and mandates advocating increased use of prescription drugs and vaccines over the past half century, government officials are anxious to blame the poor health of America on the citizens themselves.”

The medical industrial complex is the
 single largest killer of people on earth.

     Since its inception almost 100 years ago the FDA has been the chief sponsor of pharmaceutical terrorism in the world. And when you listen to the words and ideas of Scott Gottlieb, the FDA's deputy commissioner for medical and scientific affairs, we see their mission is also to protect the drug companies. “We think that if your company complies with the FDA processes, if you bring forward the benefits and risks of your drug, and let your information be judged through a process with highly trained scientists, you should not be second-guessed by state courts that don't have the same scientific knowledge."

    The FDA is not the only branch of government in bed with the pharmaceuticals. The Homeland Security Bill was signed into law by President George W. Bush, in 2002, removed pharmaceutical industry liability for mercury induced vaccine injuries and deaths caused by thimerosal (ethyl-mercury).[6]  It was a provision that was inserted at the 11th hour and for a while no one would come forward to take credit for the dirty deed. It was later repealed and the source of the special clauses was traced back to White House insistence.[7]

     But officials in love with the drug companies have not stopped trying. In December 2005, Republican leaders, and specifically Senator Bill Frist (R-TN), attached protective provisions to a Department of Defense appropriations report that gave the industry unprecedented immunity from liability. Attempts are being made from many points on the compass to grant sweeping immunity to drug companies for injuries caused by vaccines and drugs even if they are made with flagrant disregard for basic safety precautions. The government is trying its best to make sure that they will leave people who become injured from a drug or vaccine without recourse.

     Several years ago I wrote an essay titled The Company that Kills Babies; it was about Eli Lilly, the major pharmaceutical company involved in the thimerosal disaster.[8] In reality certain key people at the FDA, and others who protect these companies belong in jail. All of these attempts to shield Big Pharma could save these companies hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars. They are involved with so much created iatrogenic death and disease that law suits are springing up all over the place threatening the drug companies in the same way the cigarette companies were.

   Though the pharmaceutical companies are literally swimming in deep rivers of money and power they have a sickness that has no cure. Not only do they continue to get away with murder but continually raise the price we pay for letting them poison us. The New York Times recently reported that prices of the most widely used prescription drugs rose sharply in this year's first quarter; prices charged by drug makers for brand-name pharmaceuticals jumped 3.9 percent, four times the general inflation rate during the first three months of this year and the largest quarterly price increase in six years.[9]

    And now also from the Times we hear that a 15-month inquiry by a top House Democrat has found that enforcement of the nation's food and drug laws declined sharply during the first five years of the Bush administration. For instance, the investigation found, the number of warning letters that the Food and Drug Administration issued to drug companies, medical device makers and others dropped 54 percent, to 535 in 2005 from 1,154 in 2000.[10] There is no end to the administration’s and the FDA’s love affair with the pharmaceutical industry. Someone controls and pulls the strings in Washington and it’s certainly not the taxpayer.

True or False - FDA approved drugs are safe and effective?

     This is the basic question that would determine in a court of law the guild of the FDA. Shane Ellison M.Sc., who holds a masters degree in organic chemistry, in his book Health Myths Exposed rips open the greatest myth of medicine. The number one myth of modern medicine is that FDA approved drugs are safe and effective. The current crisis in the medical world is just this, week after week new reports come out exposing the terrible dangers of pharmaceutical drugs. Law suits are mounting and deaths are being counted. In their books both Richards and Ellison reveal one horrid story after another running through the full gambit of pharmaceuticals that are killing hundreds of thousands of people a year and hurting millions more. Dr. Lisa Landymore-Lim, in her book Poisonous Prescriptions, Do Antibiotics Cause Asthma and Diabetes? nails the point home. She asserts that antibiotics cause asthma and diabetes. After reading all of these books any intelligent soul will think twice before taking another drug produced by the pharmaceutical business and passed off as safe by the FDA.  

     Certainly parents want to be extra careful with their children but in the world of American sponsored medical terrorism much of the choice is being taken out of their hands. Parents are being threatened with the loss of their children to state agencies if they do not drug their children. Richards exposes the terrible truth that Adderall, Concerta and Ritalin are basically speed meaning the FDA has taken the place of the drug pusher on the streets in front of schools. The only difference is that the FDA has the nerve to push the drugs on the babies starting as young as 3.

     Keeping in mind that the FDA also lords over and approves vaccines in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we can trace their obscene behavior right to the moment of children’s births. These agencies approved in 1991 the injection of the Hepatitis B vaccine to be given only hours after birth. Not only is Hepatitis B not a childhood disease that puts our children at risk but the Hepatitis B vaccine is one of the most dangerous vaccines of all. It is this medical decision that marks the clearest moment when the FDA, pharmaceutical companies and pediatricians crossed the border into medical insanity. Since then we and our families have been staggering under the weight of a highly organized terror organization gone completely mad, and to make matters worse, most of us have been insane enough to continue to trust our babies with these people.

     The New York Times reported in early June that the use of potent antipsychotic drugs to treat children and adolescents for problems like aggression and mood swings increased more than fivefold from 1993 to 2002. Dr. Mark Olfson, a professor of clinical psychiatry at Columbia University analyzed data from a national survey of doctors' office visits, found that antipsychotic medications were prescribed to 1,438 per 100,000 children and adolescents in 2002, up from 275 per 100,000 in the two-year period from 1993 to 1995.

     The Times also reported that in recent years, antidepressants have been linked to an increase in suicidal thinking or behavior in some minors, and reports have suggested that stimulant drugs like Ritalin may exacerbate underlying heart problems. Antipsychotic drugs also carry risks: Researchers have found that many of the drugs can cause rapid weight gain and blood lipid changes that increase the risk of diabetes. None of the most commonly prescribed antipsychotics is approved for use in children, although doctors can prescribe, for “off label” uses (unapproved uses), any medication that has been FDA approved. Ritalin and other drugs like Risperdal from Janssen and Zyprexa from Eli Lilly are all dangerous but approved by the FDA as safe.

      The capacity of the FDA to betray the nation was revealed vividly by Dr. David Graham last year when he acknowledged that Merck’s drug for arthritis sufferers, Vioxx, caused as many as 139,000 heart attacks, strokes, and deaths. Testifying before the Senate, Graham charged that Vioxx had killed between 28,000 and 55,000 people since the FDA placed it on a fast track for approval in 1999.

     The stories go on and on without limit but one of the most foul and least heard about or understood is the story of insulin told by Dr. Brent Hoadley in his book Too Profitable to Cure.[11] Human rDNA insulin was pushed through the FDA in the early 1980s in an incredibly short time despite scientists objecting about the high incidence of adverse events adverse events like severe hypoglycemia being found. Since the introduction of this genetically engineered insulin there has been a 350% increase in "dead in bed" syndrome (diabetics dying in their sleep from low blood sugars).

     With the ripping explosion in diabetes facing the entire world’s population this could shape up to be the largest and most hidden medical fiasco ever. Dr. Hoadley, a diabetic himself, writes, “The human insulin product so quickly approved as not equal to the beef or pork insulin products that have been proven safe over a period of 70 years of use. The only advantage of human insulin is the fact that the product is considerably less expensive to produce than animal insulins and results in greater profitability for diabusiness.” What is it to the FDA that the mortality rate, which prior to 1982 was less than 4 % from iatrogenic hypoglycemia, exploded to present estimates of 13 %? Multiply this rates increase by the huge increase in diabetes and then add in additional deaths of those killed by diabetics in auto-accidents and we have a steadily increasing number of deaths to lie at the door of the FDA. Today it is now virtually impossible for Americans, and most people around the world to even purchase the earlier safer versions of insulin.

     The pharmaceutical companies are in the business of manufacturing drugs of a poisonous nature for the purpose of making money, so much that these industries have produced the wealthiest and most powerful people the world has ever seen. That is spelled P-O-I-S-O-N like in danger, hazard, beware, and handle with care types of substances. The job of the FDA is to assure the public that the poisonous drugs are safe as mother’s milk. It is interesting to note what Dr. Harvey W. Wiley, the very first commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), then known as the “US Bureau of Chemistry,” said to his infamous Poison Squad, young men who were deliberately fed poisonous substances commonly in use as preservatives. “There was no danger by poisons, but that there might be some disturbance to their systems.”

The FDA’s Censorship

     The FDA stands at the point of sale of health care products acting as a block to information that could save lives and alleviate suffering. The FDA is a fascist organization that is against freedom of speech and the free flow of information. There are many ways in reality that the FDA carries out its terrorism of the population and its active participation against forms of natural healing is an important one.

Vitamin C manufacturers still cannot tell the public
about the published scientific papers attesting to its
 cardio-protective effects because of FDA censorship.[12]

    Very simply put the FDA does its very best to limit the ability of natural products and natural healing modalities to make inroads into the territory of the medical industrial complex. Simple, safe and effective forms of treatment are discarded always in favor of the more dangerous ones provided by the pharmaceutical companies.

     Our insistence upon trusting the federal government and the entire medical industrial establishment is leading society into a frightening situation and only a fundamental, creative change in our thinking and behavior can extricate us from the destructive consequences of what is being prepared for us and our children.     But Americans thus far have shown no disposition to confront the deeper implications of the tidal wave of iatrogenic death and disease generated under the medical fascism of the FDA, that is, until it affects them personally. Deep analysis of what is happening takes a commitment of moral and intellectual energy that is simply not present in the general public thus there is little hope that the healthcare crisis will diminish, no matter how much money and research is thrown into the fray.

     Butler Shaffer, who teaches at the Southwestern University School of Law said poignantly, “There is certainly no way in which a “society” or a “civilization” can transform itself in some collective fashion. We live in a country ruled by dangerous and foolish people; by sociopaths who are prepared to engage in the planned killing of hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and children, for no other purpose than to satisfy their insatiable appetites for power.” It’s the same people who plan the death of foreigners via war and invasions that map out the medical Armageddon already in progress at home.

If the FDA can't meet its own criteria of being
safe and effective, we are better off without it.
